Seasons

We've been learning about seasons and weather.  Our culminating activity was really fun!  The class was divided into four groups.  Each group started at one of the four baskets placed around the room.  Each basket had books about a season.  The students had to read to get information about each season.  They had to draw a picture of a tree in their season, draw a picture of themselves wearing clothes in the season, and draw three symbols of the season.  They had about 15 minutes to read/draw their pictures.  They rotated to the next season when their group was finished.  If they started at Fall, they rotated to Winter.  This helped them practice the cycle of the seasons.  After they finished the rotations, they wrote three sentences about each season.  Here are some pictures of them collecting data.
